When you imagine a tanning bed, what do you think of. The literal translation from Latin is "the place where the sun shines," but I learned this morning that the word is used differently around the world. As an American, I thought of it as the big glass room at the end of the house, the place where you have to be careful not to masturbate lest you be accused of public indecency. In Germany, on the other hand, a tanning bed is known as a place to lie in a tanning bed. Here we call them tanning beds, but after watching Solarium.tv, I have a feeling I like the German term better.

So, why am I talking about Solarium today, because, as regular readers of ThePornDude may have noticed, I am not in the business of advertising tanning beds or health and beauty equipment. In any case, I don't think Solarium.tv would get 250,000 visitors a month if that was all it was selling. Sure, you can visit their establishments to temporarily darken your skin with ultraviolet light, but wouldn't you rather hide in the shade and look at the naked women lying on those machines.

Well, you should already know that Solarium TV is a voyeuristic site with lots of spy cameras set up around the tanning machines. It attracts women who know their bodies are good enough to show off, so they tan in the first place, and so they have to strip down to get the process going. As I write this manuscript, I'm observing a naked woman next to a tanning bed.

When I launched Solarium TV, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the full-width text at the top of the home page makes it clear. Real Tanning Salon Live Cam Free," the caption read. I'm always skeptical of such claims. I've only seen a few free cams on other voyeuristic sites, but they were always the worst, nothing to look at. They give you access to some things, but you'll quickly discover where the limits are when you start exploring. Most of Solarium TV's best features are locked to premium members only. Again, given that the MultiCam I mentioned has 20 live Solarium cam spy cameras, but only 8 of them are free.

I clicked to unlock one of the blur cameras to see how much it would cost to blur it. Access costs €0.99, but the minimum reservation is €9.99, depending on how you pay. (It's a coin-based system where you unlock the cameras based on daily or monthly usage. Honestly, it's not much different from webcam chat sites, but it's definitely cheaper. Instead of constantly paying to keep the show going, you just pay to keep the curtains open.Since I brought up webcam chat, this seems like an appropriate place to mention some of Solarium TV's other features. Solarium TV, however, has its cameras located throughout the facility, so their hours of operation are a little more limited. To watch live, the store hours are listed at the top of the home page. The rest of the time, you'll have to put up with pre-recorded video.

Everything is recorded in the tanning room, and all of last week's footage is archived. That means you can access them at your convenience and watch what you missed. You might see a sexy Asian woman sunbathing, or a slender girl sunbathing, for example. Either way, you can watch them while they lie there, completely oblivious to the fact that some pervert on the Internet is watching and fucking around in old, plain socks.

Ultimately, this is Solarium TV's biggest gimmick. Compared to other voyeuristic sites that hire a bunch of sexy young men to live in a house with them and fuck them, this site is a little more low-key. The women get naked, but there's no tanning bed where they get their brains fucked. For the most part, these women are there to be served, not to expose themselves to perverts.

It's a fascinating setup, but don't the women really know that. Cameras at the counter and at the entrance seem like legitimate business, but there are "secret" cameras in the booths. Such a setup cannot be set up without consent, at least in the U.S., but I'm no expert on German law.

With all the free cameras available, Solarium.tv is worth a look for any voyeurist or just a lover of women.
